What's Here

Here's a current list of businesses operating on the Extraterrestrial Highway, aka NV 375.

1. The Little A'Le'Inn

Located in Rachel, this bar, grill, and motel is a popular spot for tourists. It's known for its alien-themed decor and memorabilia, and it serves as a social hub for visitors exploring the ET Highway. This location served as inspiration for the movie Paul. Gifts from the production crews of Independence Day and Galaxy Quest can be seen outside.
Reservations should generally be made in advance in peak seasons.
Amenities are sparse, so come prepared!
**They are currently open from 8am to 10pm for the summer!

2. ET Fresh Jerky

Situated at 12600 US-93 in Hiko (at the very tip of the ET Highway), this store offers a variety of jerky flavors along with other snacks and souvenirs. It’s famous for its clean restrooms and quirky alien-themed murals, making it a fun stop for photos.

3. Alien Research Center

This souvenir shop, marked by a large alien statue outside, offers a range of alien-themed items. Despite its name, it’s a tourist shop, not exactly a research facility.
The hours on the website are iffy, so it can be better to call ahead to ensure they're open.

4. The Black Mailbox

A curious attraction located along the highway, this mailbox has become a popular meeting spot for UFO enthusiasts who leave letters and gifts for extraterrestrials. It’s a well-known landmark despite its remote location.
**As of June, 2024, the Black Mailbox has been stolen. Again.
Yeah, it happens a lot. We'll update here as soon as a new one goes up.

5. The Alien Cowpoke

Another alien-themed gift shop and gas station located in Rachel. It offers various alien souvenirs and serves as a convenient stop for travelers.
**The outdoor credit card readers on the pumps can be… iffy. If you're going to be passing through before 9am or after 5pm, it is advisable to fill up in either Alamo or Tonopah.

These businesses and attractions make the Extraterrestrial Highway a unique and fascinating destination for those interested in UFOs and alien culture! Come visit!
